Julie DeSorgher has extensive experience in executive search, management consulting, and as a senior manager in healthcare organizations. As a search consultant she has reviewed thousands of resumes, coached numerous candidates on resume development and interviewing skills, and worked with client organizations to assess their leadership needs. As a senior manager and a management consultant for more than 25 years, Julie interviewed, hired, coached, and mentored many individuals as well as developed expertise in assessing people, leadership, organizations, and their cultures.
Early in her career, Julie worked in nursing and nursing administration at several academic medical centers. Building on that experience, she became a healthcare management consultant. She also worked in hospital finance and administration, and has held senior positions in managed care at several premier Boston area companies.
In addition to Julie’s broad healthcare experience, she worked extensively in executive search, first at a firm specializing in higher education leading searches for leadership positions at top-tier colleges and universities. Later in her career at a healthcare search firm, she worked closely with clients to understand their organizational needs, and then developed and presented highly talented pools of candidates.
Julie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Winona State University in Minnesota and her Master of Public Administration degree from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
